Where'd the Week Go?

Well...nothing much interesting to report. I'm just trying to stay on top of my new little project here. Gracious knows if I let myself get too far behind, I'll never catch up. Kind of like the scrapbook I started for Claire that hasn't been touched in months. I keep saving all kinds of things to put in there, but it's all on top of her scrapbook in a sad little pile in her closet. I really need to work on that. Not what I meant to get on a tangent about. Anyway, it's been a quiet week.

Monday and Tuesday I was off. The weather wasn't great so Claire and I just hung out at home. Tuesday we had friends over for dinner and Devin grilled up some amazing burgers. He stole my grandpa's recipe, and they are SO good y'all. He mixes hamburger meat with pork sausage and some seasonings and slaps those suckers over some charcoal. Oh. Em. Gee. Delish!

Yesterday I worked and then last night we met with one of our Front Porches, which is our church's version of small group/Bible study. Devin and I are really enjoying the new relationships we're building as we connect with more people through these programs. Not only that, but we're seeing God work in new ways in our relationship and in our church...it's pretty amazing! I'm back at work today, but off for the weekend (hoping I don't get called in) and we have lots of fun things planned! I'll have to be better about busting the camera out so I can post pictures of our activities. I've always loved taking pictures but never known much about it beyond the point and shoot basics. Now that Claire is here though, I'm REALLY wanting a good camera and maybe Photoshop to really get some good pictures of her and of our family.

On a random note, it is B-E-A-utiful outside today, and I'm really disappointed that I'm stuck inside at work. Hope y'all are out enjoying the weather. What are your plans for the weekend?
