As promised (albeit a week later), a recap of our outing last weekend! We loaded up early Saturday morning and headed into downtown Austin to meet our sweet friend Kelsey at the farmer's market. It was a little chilly early in the day but it turned into an absolutely gorgeous day. I even got a little sunburned, which I don't mind at all because it means pretty weather is here to stay! It's still a little early in the year for much to be in season, but we had a good time walking around just taking in the sights. After that we met our friend Laurisa and two of her kids at Toy Joy to browse their insane selection of neat odds and ends. Then we went across the street for some tasty burgers at Dirty Martin's. It's evidently a legendary place to eat but I'd never heard of it. They were good, but not really outstanding. From there we parted ways with our friends and went to the ginormous outlet mall on the way home to pick up clothes for Claire. I LOVE shopping for her, and we got her some really cute outfits at great sales. We spent the evening recovering from the busy day, then Sunday morning went to church then went grocery shopping. Super exciting stuff, let me tell ya. All that being said, here are some pictures from all the fun!
We really enjoyed getting out with friends, and Claire did really well with all the action. Hope y'all had a great weekend, too!
